For the first time in five years, r/place was revived on Reddit during April Fool’s Day, and for the past three days, communities have joined forces to create beautiful art on a canvas, where users can only color one pixel every five minutes.
The massive canvas has given risen to some jaw-dropping pixel art, which has wowed everyone, and almost everyday, viewers have managed to catch a glimpse of something new and exciting.
However, things took a turn for the worse for many focused r/place subredditors, when the subreddit caught the attention of Twitch streamers, which included Felix “xQc” Lengyel.
xQc’s war on r/Place is a perfect example of the kind of trolling that prevents anyone from having anything nice on the internet
“Hey look, a project where everyone can express their interests in pixel art on a giant collage canvas.”
“LET’S WIPE THIS SHIT OUT”

For the most part, most of the streamers were creating their own art with the help of their communities. However, xQc and his league of juicers were a bit different with their tactic, as they managed to vandalize a lot of the artwork by placing random pixels as the Void.
Many communities on r/place have been furious with xQc and his communities, as they can’t seem to compete with the manpower that the streamer operates with. Moreover, they are also disappointed that with the popular Twitch content creator, as instead of picking a spot and creating his own art, the streamer has instead trolled others with this tactic.
xQc is actually such a horrible streamer with his fanbase just constantly ruining shit on r/place and ruining the fun for loads of people just because he thinks his funny and the worst part is nobody can stop him because he’s like the biggest streamer rn

However, it seems like xQc doesn’t care at all, as he’s pulling big numbers to the point, where he even broken his peak viewership record with over 233,000 concurrent viewers, and it remains to be seen if that number will change soon before r/place ends later tonight.
